zRetailer - BETA

Hi!

My name is Jung and I am the creator of this website called zRetailer.com.  Very simply put, zRetailer.com is a classified advertisements website that is specifically dedicated to Retailers and Small Businesses.  The goal of the website is to provide a platform for local Retailers and Small Business owners to connect with each other, within a distance that they are comfortable traveling to, and make transactions that could be beneficial to the parties involved.

The reason that I chose this specific demographic is very simple.  I love the retail business and other small businesses in general.  I also have an extreme appreciation and respect for all of the Mom & Pop shops out there who are hustling and trying to make a good and honest living for themselves and their families.  And, because of this, I wanted to play a small role and provide them with a platform that could potentially make their lives a little easier, if not a little more efficient.

We all know that running a business is hard. While the experience can be exhilarating, it can also be heartbreaking.  As I write this today, I am imagining all of the heartbreaks that business owners are experiencing due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  To me, it also hits very close to home as my parents are a Mom & Pop operation themselves, and they've been hit especially hard due to the nature of their business, dry cleaning.  With less and less people heading into their offices and the lack of their ability to go out in general, there is less need to get their clothing dry cleaned. However, I am grateful that my parents can still remain open for business.  It certainly could be a lot worse, like the countless number of businesses that have shuttered during this pandemic, regardless of the size of their businesses.

The hope is that zRetailer.com will be a platform that can help with all aspects of your business. Whether you are starting a new business, maintaining and/or growing it, or, in the event that you have to close it down, zRetailer.com could be a platform that you can use to buy, sell or even trade your inventory, equipment and all other assets that could be beneficial to others businesses.  By connecting directly with other businesses, all parties involved can benefit from the direct transaction.

The 2 locations that are available today are Boston and Worcester, both cities that are in my home state of Massachusetts. You can select the city that is closest to you as a starting point for your postings.  If we can get some traction and expand to other cities, I'd be more than excited to add to the list of cities.

I hope that you will find the website to be useful and that you will set up an account with zRetailer.com. While I do have big hopes and even bigger plans for the website, all of that will only be possible if we can grow as a community.  Also, please feel free to contact me with your thoughts on the website.  Currently, the site is in BETA mode so more enhancements to come in the future.
